GSAMall is the cornerstone electronic commerce mall
(e-mall) of the SmallBIZMall.Gov Program.
SMALLBizMall.gov was developed for the
U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Federal
Technology Service (FTS), Federal Acquisition Services
for Technology (FAST), Heartland Region,
Solutions Development Center for Small Business (SDC SB).
GSAMall.com is rapidly changing the way the Federal
Government buys Information Technology products,
services, and projects.
The acquisition process that once took days, weeks,
or even months to purchase a product or service has
been drastically improved through an Internet enabled
system. The GSA FTS FAST SDC SB has devised a method of
greatly expediting the acquisition process for
products and services.
SMALLBizMall.gov represents the first time in the history
of the U.S. Government, where the process of competitively
purchasing products and services - from
comparison-shopping to awarding the contract - can take
place in a matter of minutes.
GSAMall.com is the first electronic procurement
(e-procurement) system specifically designed to meet the
needs of the GSA FTS FAST program for use with 8(a)
certified minority and small disadvantaged businesses.
SmallBIZMall.Gov and GSAMall.com provide Government buyers
and SDC Industry Partners (IPs) many benefits, including:
- One-Stop Access To A Multitude Of Supplier
Organizations
- Comparison-Shopping, Quantity Discounts
and Special Pricing
- Secure Transaction Processing
- Value-added Services and Personalized Accounts
- Online Account and Order Information
Management and Reporting
GSAMall.com was designed by Websulting, LLC.
"GSAMall.com was built using the technology created by
Websulting. Websulting worked in
close partnership with GSA to make SmallBIZMall.Gov the
FIRST viable Government e-commerce site for procuring
Products, Services and Projects. The technology was specifically
designed to meet the stringent requirements demanded of
web portals and e-malls supporting public sector
(federal, state and local governments), as well as the
flexibility required by private sector organizations
(such as government contractors).
